If I'm allergic to Lamicil, do I have higher chances to being allergic to Sporanox or Diflucan?
I have a toenail infection that I wish I could get rid of. I tried Lamacil and I developed a skin rash all over my back, so the doctor recommended I stop taking it. I then asked about taking Sporanox or Diflucan as an alternative but she said that since I had an allergic reaction to Lamacil that my chances are higher of having an allergic reaction to Sporanox or Diflucan and that it may even be worse. Is she correct or just trying to discourage me from taking these medications because of costs? (HMO)|||sounds like she is looking out for your best interest , you better listen to her on it and if you feel she isn't right , call your local pharmacist
