Have infestation of moth caterpillars on greenery in garden how do i get rid of them plz?

these caterpillars spin webs and my daughter has had bad skin rash after touching them.|||You do not say where you live. Here in Western Australia we have some-thing we call stink bugs but their proper name is -

Pine processionary caterpillar, Thaumetopoea pityocampa, is a serious pest causing dermatitis epidemics and eye problems.

They are dark, mildly hairy and mass together on trees/bushes.

As you can see they usually do lead to nasty things. Here we normally ring and pay for an environmentally kind pest exterminator. Usually they get rid of them because they breed very easily

Otherwise they just keep coming back to the same bush each year.

I once had to have the WHOLE tree cut down.

We always go to a doctor or emergency because the effects get worse each time of exposure.

If she gets it in her mouth she will not die but she will vomit a lot, and have painful mouth.

Even if you live in another country consider that here in Australia we have pests like army ants that came by accident, probably on a cargo ship.

This is why Australia has such harsh Customs laws and no-one can bring live or once live things such as wood/food etc into the country.

Get a proffessional to identify and if they are these bugs IMPORTANT

- notify agricultural Institute

-contact Customs

Good Luck and I hope it's some-thing less gruesome|||get some micro-organisms from your local garden centre|||common dish soap and water solution spray on outdoor plants and will get rid of infestations works on indoor plants to, regular dish water basically, old remedy but it works, another is borrow a or some chickens from a neighbor and turn them loose in the garden and they will eat all the bugs out and not touch the greens...

good luck
