Skin problems... hands...?

ok...

well i have a red kind of rash thing on my hand at the moment...

im guessing it's gonna be something like :

eczema, dermatitis, impertigo, heat rash etc etc

it makes my hands dry and red...

and there seems to be loads of tiny tiny fluid filled spots in these red areas :/

can anyone please try to diagnose this?

thanks for any help!

this problem is nearly bringing me to tears... :(

p.s. the only cream that seems to have worked well so far is...

"hydrocortisone ointment"

thanks =]|||It sounds like excema to me... the fluid filled spots sound like water blisters - you shouldn't pop them cos they'll make your skin itchy! Definitely go to the doctor so they can prescribe the right sort of medication for you - but they'll probably give you hydrocortisone to be honest. If it's working, keep using it as that is designed for excema sufferers, and so should help clear it up. Keep your hands moisturised - use a sensitive skin moisturiser, or aveeno cream. The cold weather might be affecting your skin, so try and wear gloves if you're going out in the cold.

It may also be an allergy to something e.g a plant you may have touched, the fabric of gloves, washing powder etc, so try and think back to what may have triggered it and avoid that. If it is a rash, antihistamines will help, such as piriton or benadryl...

I know what you're going through, cos I have really bad excema and it is so upsetting :( just go to the doctor - they'll be able to help.

Hope it gets better for you :)
