My son is 2 months and got a rash on his body it is all over him what is that?

I DON'T THINK ITS HEAT BUMPS BECAUSE HIS SKIN IS ROUGH AND DRY LIKE WHAT IS THAT|||it could be ezecma i'd take him to the doctor, use unsented lotion on him. but go see the doc|||Could be an allergic reaction. Take him to a pediatrician and have him recommend a dermatologist or allergy specialist.|||Has he had a fever in the last three days. Infants get a viral infection called roseola quite often and the rash looks a little different from child to child. I would take him to the doctor to be checked out. If you have a good pediatrician, they should have no problem seeing him for a rash.|||I t could be exema, try switching laundry detergents and check with your doctor.|||Could also be hand, foot, and mouth disease, which can be common in kids at times. Either way, take him to his doc.|||He may be allergic to something and if you're for sure its not heat rash it may be eczema. Its where the skin becomes dry and itchy and comes in red blotches all over the skin. It can be treated with hydro-cortisone cream. I think the best thing to do right away is take him to the doctor so he wont be miserable any longer than he has to.|||he probably has Rosieole a common thing for babies if he is eating only mother's milk - if you are giving him formula then he could have an allergy

Don't worry - but yes let his doc look at him
