I know that kids can get it from wet diapers, but is it from moisture or is it something in urine and stuff that irritates skin. I don't have kids so, I'm a bit clueless.|||This is a good website....it might answer other questions you might have.|||it is caused by the ammonia in the urine being next to the skin for too long.|||well yes it irritates the skin to have urine there and it starts to chaff YEEEEOUCH|||they get rashes by their skin rubbing together causing heat therefore causing a rash. keep baby powder in your baby's diaper so that rashes cannot occur.|||Diaper rash is caused from wet diapers since bacteria form very quickly on the skin that is already irritates by urine.|||Urine contains ammonia-which if it sits on the skin long enough will cause a chemical burn. Changing a childs diaper frequently will prevent a diaper rash. I always used A and D ointment on my kids bottoms with every change to protect their skin from damage.|||Try this website

Our dog (boxer) is over 9 years old. She isn't able to clean - how can I help?
Due to physical limitations, our dog is not able to properly clean herself. She continues to develop skin rashes and infections... I'm looking for suggestions of how to help her skin so she doesn't continue to develop infections. Would baby wipes work? I've been using mild water and a cortizone treatment that we have from other skin issues - but I'm looking for suggestions of something quick and simple to help keep her comfortable.|||i use baby wipes on my boxer pup and she is 3 months old i also use them on my 3 year bichon when he get his bms stuck to his hair on his butt area the baby wipes i would still use because it helps keep the area clean and just using water does not get that area clean . the wipes are so much better|||You sound like a great pet companion and I am so happy to see that. Personally I would ask a vet what the best things to use would be.
In my personal experience I have found that skin rashes are often a result of the prevalent use of commercial kibble. My older dog gets rashes occasionally and then I feed her with vegetable pulp from my juicer--which she absolutely loves. Carrot pulp is her favorite.
I also feed some raw food as it has a lot of enzymes and micronutrients that commercial dog food doesnt have.
Good luck.|||Quick and simple sounds easy but visiting a vet will be more productive. A vet can give you something that will help with the rashes and maybe help with her physical problem too.|||did she have these allergies or rashes all her life or did she just get them in her old age. you should see a vet. he would give you special soap that is medicine and that should help your dog. and relieve her of her itchiness.|||um if she is getting skin infections its the food she is eating. stop feeding her things with wheat or corn boxers can have allergies to corn or wheat. use something like lamb and rice from petco. might want to see the vet as well make sure all is well I feed my dog lamb and rice. No dog breaks out with sores from not cleaning them self look at dogs like shelties they have to much hair its her food.. As for wipes anything that is hypo allergenic should be ok with NO Alcohol and No witch hazel. Good luck. Just so you know allergies can start up just like they do in humans as there body changes.
Someone here says raw food no not a good thing my vet has treated to many pets with food poison from raw food, like salmonella and ecoli to name a few|||Yes,baby wipes and diaper rash cream like Desitin or Aveeno (Neosporin if it looks infected) There is also a good ointment that you can get from your vet called Panalog, but it is a bit expensive for a small tube. These will help, and a little baby powder will keep her smelling good, too. And,yes dogs DO break out in rashes from not cleaning, and I highly doubt that the dog would suddenly develop a reaction to her food if she's ten years old.|||try a warm salt bath daily and dry well if there are really red sores try babys sudocream|||Boxers tend to keep pretty clean in the first place. If she is developing skin rashes/infections it is likely from her developing an allergy to something-a food ingredient, fleas, something outdoors, etc. The vet would have to test her to see if there is something she is allergic to, or if there is a different cause. She may end up needing antibiotics.

I have a rash, red bumps on my legs? What is it?
I have sensitive skin and think it might be from dry cleaning? I get clothes dryed cleaned all the time but this has happened twice now.|||Could be the soap they are using. That happens to me with carpet cleaner. I never need anything dry cleaned, but can't you let them know you are sensitive or have allergies. I swear the dry cleaner can use special care for people with sensitivities. I could be wrong though.
I would definitely contact the dry cleaner and ask them what they use and if there are alternatives.
As far as your skin goes. My doctor had told me to take benadryl and use Aveeno soaps and lotions, these have no perfumes and contain oatmeal which will help with any red, itchy skin.|||Dude you have aids..|||Could be from shaving, lotions, sops, laundry detergents, dry cleaning........|||did you change the brand of razors you or the brand of shaving foam you shave your legs with? You could react to stuff they put in their material. maybe ther was nickel in the razor. happened to me once. i go all out know and buy the expensive mens razors rather than risking another rash.

I have a rash on both elbows - kind of red and scaly and very itchy. Any idea of what it could be?
I live in FL so the temperature isn't cold ... I know some people get dry skin from cold weather.|||If the problem is only on your elbows, then it is highly likely that you are leaning on your elbows while on the computer or reading, etc.. I had the same thing but never thought about it until someone asked.
Eucerin works great.|||Psoriasis|||sounds like dry skin. try eurcrine, i dont know how to spell it, but it does start with a e. its at walmart for $13, but their 'walmart brand' is $4 and works exactly. its more of a thick butter type lotion, so you really have to rub it in, but it has no dyes or chemicals , hypoalergenic stuff.
my son has excema, so if it works on that, it wil work on your arms!|||sounds like psoriasis, see a dermatologist for a prescription|||its a kind of eczema. try celestoderm from a drug store. it does wonders. its for dermatological problems. trust me.
good luck|||Elbows can try out because of the excess skin there. Try some vaseline on it a couple of times, and give it a day or two for the redness to go away.|||psoriasis

Sex Facts???
1. Sex is a beauty treatment. Scientific tests find that when women make love they produce amounts of the hormone oestrogen, which makes hair shine and skin smooth.

3. Lovemaking can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner.
4. Sex is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It's more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps, and you don't need special sneakers!
5. Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphin's into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being.

Most nights, I only had to put on my regular Nikes. They were heavy, but they kept my feet warm.
Some nights she made me put on my cowboy boots. I also had to wear a cowboy hat, chaps, and carry a lasso and a bull whip. Well, she asked me to do some crazy things with all that stuff.
Some nights she made my put on my football shoes, with cleats and all. She kept using each cleat to rub something or other. I never did figure out what she was doing.
One night she made me put on sneakers with 4" spike heels. But she didn't like what I did with them, so she never made me do that again.
There were other kinds of sneakers also, but Yahoo would not let me post about them.
I always put on the sneakers that she said I should because she told me I HAD to do that. I guess I ought to put on some running sneakers and find me another girlfriend.|||awwww mann..i just broke up with my boyfriend like 2 hours ago..hmm..i should get back with him...|||yeah!!!i just got healthy!!!|||I'm not sure how accurate 5 through 7 are, and 8 and 10 sound really suspect to me...If 9 were true, women would not have the "Not tonight...I have a headache" excuse...

How can I remove this white rash?
On my chest there is a large white spot in my armpit and it goes down over my nipple and all the way to my belly button and even wraps around my back a little. I went to the doctor a long time ago. I was given this cream that was supposed to remove it but it didn't work. She said it was called Pigmentation. The pigment cells that make my skin its color went away to all my skin turned a reallly pale white in that area.
Is there any thing I can use that I can get from a store that will remove this?|||I'm not sure there's any way to get the pigmentation back, but if it is a condition called vitiligo then steroid cream can stop it spreading (if it is still spreading), I assume this is what the doctor gave you.
I've put a link to a website in the sources, it has a pic to see if this is what it is, and it gives advice as well.
Hope this helps
