I had a rash and red dot on one toe and now it is on both feet what is it?
some swelling and poor circultion in my toes only. they turn purple when i get into the bath tub. My toes itch. rubbing off my skin|||You should go to a medical professional for a diagnosis.
None itchy permanent rash what is it?
My boyfriend has gotten small patches maybe 1-2cm in length on various parts of his arms and hands, theyre pinky and bumpy, looks kind of like dry skin, he says they don't itch or anything but more keep appearing. Anybody out there with a clue to what this is?|||Sounds like dermatitis, from strong hand soaps used in the work place|||have him check with a dermatologist. sounds like possible psoriasis. look for flaky skin appearing and sloughing off every few days. most psoriasis is itchy but not always. have had it on my legs for years, wont pay incredibly high price for steroidal creams, use gold bond lotion. keeps them hydrated and takes away the itch. look up "shingles" on the web, slight possibility but not likely. good luck. wisedriver|||Just a skin reaction, probably to a soap. A moisturiser should help after washing. If they don't disappear his doctor can prescribe cortisone cream.
Dry, red rash on face?
About mid October two spots of dry red skin appeared on my chin. They do not itch, but they do get flaky and hurts like a sun burn. At first I thought my dog had gotten into something and transfered it to my face, and that it would go away with time.
Well it has been about a month and a half and it is still there.
I have tried several things to make this go away. I have tried lotions and moisturizers, I have tried hydrocortizone cream, anti-fungal cream, dandruff shampoo (some one told me it was like scalp dandruff but on the face). No cahnge at all.
I have always had fairly clear skin, and have no allergies that I am aware of.
So what else can I do to try to get rid of it?|||Nutritional status, stress levels, climate and season all play a role in the quality of a person's skin. In order to improve your skin, you need to consider and address all these different aspects, for simply rubbing on moisturizers is unlikely to provide you with the benefit you are seeking.
From a nutritional standpoint, you need to ensure that you are
receiving adequate nourishment which includes essential vitamins and minerals. It also means eliminating substances that are not adding any substantial nutritional value.
For two weeks, make certain that you are receiving plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your diet while avoiding alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, and other recreational drugs.
Throughout the day, drink abundant fluids in the form of fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Prepare yourself some ginger and licorice tea by adding one teaspoon of each to a pint of hot water and sipping it throughout the day.
Make certain that you are receiving adequate oil in your diet to include vegetarian sources of both omega-6 and omega-3. Sauté your vegetables in sesame or olive oil and try adding some flaxseed oil on a daily basis. Try adding some ghee (clarified butter) to your diet to help your skin.|||You have certainly tried a lot of things in just 6 weeks. You need to give things time to work. Dry skin doesn't clear up in just a few days. You need to give you skin time to rejuvenate. That means at least a week to 10 days.
The first thing you should probably do is to try to keep the skin as moist as possible. Allow the natural healing to occur. If that doesn't work then you will probably need to see a dermatologist. If it is some sort of infection you'll need appropriate treatment.
Here's a place for lots of info and treatment methods for dry skin.

What causes a blistered rash onthe buttocks?
When scratched, pieces of skin peel away, exposing slightly burning/irritated skin. It has continued for the last 5 or 6 days. It started with dry skin patches at the top of both buttocks. Due to scratching duringmy sleep, it has progressed further down my buttocks on both sides. I've tried using a moisturizing lotion and also Prickly Heat powder. Neither seem to have any positive effect.|||Yeast infection or fungus infection (or poison ivy or herpes as the other person above just said)....also MRSA makes tiny blisters...that is a serious staph infection...see a doctor...you could try an antifungal ointment first...or a diaper rash cream with zinc in it.. (zinc helps healing..)|||I hope that u go to the doctors to see if they have a remedy or some antibotics for that and get that taken care of.|||Definately see a doctor. You could get a secondary infection if you've got open sores.|||That sounds almost like herpes lesions or poison ivy. Usually, herpes Zoster (shingles) occur in people with weaker immune systems...like under a lot of stress. usually shingles is only on one side of the body in a specific area but I have seem it spread. Either one of these two rashes can spread so keep your hands washed very well, especially after the bathroom and when washing the area. You really need to have this checked out, if it is a herpes virus there are some meds that can really help.|||You may have 'shingles' ... which can come if you have ever had Chicken Pox ... and since 'shingles' are SERIOUS I would see my doctor about the 'rash' you are experiencing, so he can give you the 'proper medication' ... I could be 'wrong' but think that the POSSIBILITY is 'bad enough' that you do need to 'talk to your doctor' about your 'rash' ...
I developed a "heat rash" on 8/7/06 between my legs , then i got "jock itch" which was suppose 2 b goneby 9/10

(its not herpes) i just really need an answer as to what is going on with my penis it is scaring me! what is it? how did i get it? how do u get rid of it? if any1 has any clue as to what is going on i would greatly appriciate it if you would reply with answers! someone please help!!!!|||it sounds like heat rash with fungus on it, a simple solution would be to use that cream that women use for yeast infections. that will take care of the fungus and make it stop itching

Skin Cream for dark spots on African American Skin ?
Does anyone know of a good cream that works well with lightening dark spot. I had a rash on my leg and from scratching I irritated it, and they left dark marks. Ive never had dark spots , let alone a breakout before. Im dying to find something to lighten these spots on my legs before the summer. Any suggestions would be helpful/|||I have people swore that Ambi or Nadinola cream works great and you can find them at any drugstore or mass merchandise retailer. You can also try some home remedies too. Try soaking a cotton ball in either lemon juice or buttermilk, then dabbing it to the affected area for a couple of weeks. Those dark spots should disappear.|||Ambi skin cream is good and you can find it at most drugstores.
Only use it if you rash is gone, though.|||Try Fade Out cream. It's a British product but you can get it from Amazon (link below).
There's full info on there and it usually works in about six weeks but you'll have to make sure the rash/irritation is gone as you can't apply it to broken or irritated skin. Plus, as with any product, make sure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients.
I hope you get the skin tone you want for the summer!|||The dark spots are the result of dead skin left behind from the rash and scratching. Yes bleaching cream can work but it will only lighten the dark spots not get rid of the dead skin. Try gently exfoliating the area with a loofah, add lemon juice to soap. The citric acid will help lighten the area as well as buff off the dead skin. Keep the area moisturized with a cream, as for the rash to calm it if it returns all you need is instant oatmeal. Slather on the oat meal before bathing, it calms the skin and reduces redness and itching.
